The municipality takes a new step in the digitization of tourist services with the aim that visitors can know the characteristics of the town that welcomes them and have the cultural and leisure offer of the destination.

The Santa Susanna City Council has taken a step forward in the digitization of tourist services with the delivery of informative tablets to all accommodation establishments in the municipality. These devices, which are already installed in the receptions of hotels, campsites and other accommodation, will allow visitors to easily and immediately access relevant tourist information mainly from Santa Susanna and also from the surroundings of the Maresme region and the province of Barcelona.

The tablets offer updated information available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in several languages, thus facilitating access to content for both national, national and international tourists.

It is a resource designed to improve the visitor experience, offering recommendations on places of interest, activities, events, routes, gastronomy, transport and local services. It has an interactive map where you can find all the geolocated points of tourist interest. Corporate websites (town hall and tourism) and product websites (cycling and events) are also available.

This initiative is part of the Santa Susanna City Council's commitment to a smart tourist destination model, committed to innovation, sustainability and accessibility of information for all audiences. With the implementation of this digital system, the municipality consolidates its position as a benchmark in the modernization of the tourism sector.

This project has been possible thanks to the financing of European Funds, which have made it possible to promote digitization and innovation actions to improve the tourist competitiveness of the destination.
